Peter Head of Arup, a leading proponent of sustainable urban development, is leading a team to build an eco-city near Shanghai

Peter Head, OBE FREng, Director of Arup, Commissioner of London Sustainable Development Commission and Imperial College alumnus, has recently featured on the cover of Time Magazine. He is one of the world's leading proponents of sustainable urban development and will be speaking about his ideas in relation to the building of a new eco-city in Dongtan, near Shanghai. What can we learn and how can we transfer the knowledge? What is the implication for London and other cities?
