Textual Heresies: Le Corbusier and the Palais des Congrès-Strasbourg, 1962–64. Part of the Le Corbusier Season in Liverpool.
Internationally acclaimed architect and educator Peter Eisenman presents a lecture on Le Corbusier, focussing in particular on the Palais des Congrès-Strasbourg, which features in his new publication, Ten Canonical Buildings, 1950–2000.
Eisenman is recognised as one of the most significant international figures of the post-war period, having influenced generations of architects through his extensive theoretical writings and built projects.
Chaired by Charles Jencks, architectural historian and designer.
